It is the time for citrus and this recipe is perfectly sweet, and captures the orange flavor. A sweet jam to serve for brunch over homemade biscuits or your favorite bread.
5 or 6 Good Life Organic Navel Oranges, peeled and sliced
2 Good Life Organic Lemons (optional, use if oranges are sweeter)
1 box Low Sugar Pectin
2 cups sugar
1. Slice oranges into small chunks and place into saucepan.
2. In a small bowl, mix pectin and 1/2 cup sugar. Add to oranges over high heat.
3. Stir over heat and let boil for about 5 minutes. Add remaining sugar (1 1/2 cups) and stir to a boil for a minute. Remove from heat and place into jars. Place jars into water bath for 10 minutes and then into refrigerator.
